Grace is a bilingual Spanish speaking mental health practitioner, Grace is culturally sensitive and has a unique understanding of the pressures, influences and oppression that can reside within different cultures and marginalized communities. Apart from being a California licensed psychotherapist, she is a Certified Treatment Specialist for Diverse Populations (CTSDP). The vast majority of her clients are people of diverse cultures living in various parts of the East Bay, South Bay, Central Valley, North Bay, Peninsula, and San Francisco.
Grace opened East Bay Area Therapy after years of volunteering and working at non-profit health clinics, agencies, and with county services in San Francisco, east Oakland, Berkeley, and Contra Costa County.
Grace graduated from University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish language. She graduated from USF with honors. She went on to get her master’s from The Wright Institute in Counseling Psychology. She also has a certificate from Harvard Medical School in Global Mental Health Trauma and Recovery.
